Organizing In Action -- Now It's Your Turn!
**** SPECIAL NOTE: The Organizing in Action workshop is a pre-requisite to this workshop. ****
So, you have been the "fly on the wall" in one of our previous Organizing in Action workshops. Now... YOU are given the unique opportunity to "walk in the shoes" of the Professional Organizer AND "wear the shoes " of the Client.
Develop your own skills and gain confidence in working with clients in a safe and supervised setting. You will participate in two "live" organizing sessions in two distinct venues: one as the Professional Organizer, and one as the Client.
This workshop is delivered in a small, intimate setting so the individual participants receive personalized attention. The instructors will be the "flies on the wall" and you will receive the benefit of their wisdom, as well as feedback from the client. Two veteran organizers with over 30 years of combined experience share their business savvy about working with clients.
As the Professional Organizer, you will:
- Gain hands-on experience guiding the client through the initial session

Ask vital questions that assess the client's needs and clarify their short-term and long-term goals

Develop an Action Plan that sets the course for a successful organizing project
As the Client, you will:
- Experience firsthand the issues of being a client
- Discover how the organizer's approach, questions, and even their personality can impact the client/organizer relationship
- Gain valuable insight and clarity into the decision-making process
